Every great home begins with a story. This is ours. Marcella Manor began as a vision inspired by Shannon's grandmother, Marcella.
As Shannon's grandmother began experiencing the signs of aging and was later diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, she made the difficult transition from the family farm to a secured assisted living community. During that time, Shannon played an active role in both her grandmother's and grandfather's care, creating a relationship that would shape the rest of her life.
The bond Shannon shared with her grandparents is one she will always cherish, and it continues to inspire the compassionate care every resident receives at Marcella Manor.
Marcella Manor is named in honor of Shannon's grandmother, Marcella, who lost her battle with Alzheimer's disease in 2010. While her passing was heartbreaking, it strengthened Shannon's determination to create a place where older adults could receive exceptional care in a warm, welcoming, home-like environment.
Today, that vision lives on every day at Marcella Manor. We are honored that you are considering allowing us to become part of your family's journey and to build the same meaningful relationships that inspired the creation of our home.

Marcella Manor is a licensed assisted living residence providing a safe, comfortable, and professional home for adults age 65 and older, with special considerations available for individuals age 55 and above.
Every resident has unique needs, which is why we offer individualized support ranging from housekeeping, laundry, and nutritious home-cooked meals to more comprehensive assistance with medication management, bathing, grooming, dressing, and other activities of daily living. Licensed nursing support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing families with confidence and peace of mind.
Beyond meeting physical needs, we believe quality of life matters. Residents enjoy opportunities for social engagement, meaningful activities, and entertainment designed to encourage connection, purpose, and enjoyment each day.
Our caregivers receive extensive training under the direction of licensed professionals, preparing them to provide skilled, compassionate care while building genuine relationships with each resident. We believe preserving independence, dignity, and personal choice is just as important as meeting healthcare needs.
