Marcella Manor started as a vision while Shannon's grandmother was experiencing signs of aging and later developed Alzheimers, leading to a move from the family farm to a secured assisted living facility. Shannon played an important role in both her grandmother's and grandfather's medical cares as they aged, allowing her to develop a special relationship with her grandparents during this time. The bond that Shannon shared with her grandparents is one that she will always cherish and she shares this compassion for each patient she interacts with. Marcella Manor is a tribute to the life of Shannon's grandmother, Marcella, who lost her battle with Alzheimer's in 2010. Her death lead to an increased determination to take the vision and make it a reality. We are so excited that you are allowing us to form a similar bond with you and your loved one as Shannon did with her grandparents. Welcome home!
Marcella Manor is an independent residential home; that is a licensed facility, providing a professional safe housing option to persons over the age of 65, with special considerations available for those aged 55 and above. Marcella Manor offers a range of assistance from simple housekeeping, laundry and meals to those with a more complex need including medication management, bathing, grooming, dressing, and a nurse available 24/7. In addition to daily cares, Marcella Manor will also offer a variety of activities and entertainment to engage your loved one.
Our staff receive extensive training by a licensed professional allowing them to assist with some of the most intimate cares for your loved one and forming a unique bond with each client. Your loved one's independence is of utmost importance and allowing Marcella Manor's trained staff to care for your family will allow you peace of mind and make your visits more meaningful.
